Top o' the morning
to you!
Auckland’s main road, Queen Street, came alive to the sounds of
fiddles and pipe bands yesterday, and the street was lined with people clad in
green clothing and wearing weird and wonderful green hats. The Irish of
Auckland … and everyone else besides … were celebrating the special day of the
Irish patron saint, St Patrick.
I don’t have the Irish gift of the gab so I’ll let my
photos do the talking …
